Had several of these over the weekend at the Bottleworks. Served in a snifter(not sure why). Black with small thick head. One of the smoothest, easiest drinking stouts I have had. Coffee, chocolate, matly and a little dry. They were pouring a ton of these, so I wasn't the only one enjoying this St Louis brew.

Bottle given to me by the brewer at a tasting in KC. Pours an opaque dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is malty with caramel undertones. Flavor is sweet up front but a subtle bitter aftertaste. A really good beer overall.

Creamy, velvety, the best mouthfeel I've yet encountered, what a delight! The taste was more coffee than chocolate and quite dry, did I finally pick up on the Irish moss? Unfortunately nearly no head, and no trace of lacing. A wonder for the mouth, a disappointment for the eyes.
