nice little dark pour with minimal head and traces of laces..scant, really. Not alot of action to excite me, but it satisfied me in that hohum way. . The flavor is malty and slightly fruity, with a small hop presence. It's like someone you are comfortable with, but hold no passion for. Very easy to ignore, yet it gets all used up anyway and the glass is empty in the end, and you dont remember ever drinking it. . It's a mindless peck on the cheek that should have been a kiss, but wasn't.

Dark ruby with small off-white foam ring. Aroma is caramel with some leather notes. Taste is littke sweet, again leather, earthy tones. Bit carbonated. Short caramel/barley aftertaste. (Velp 201401)

500 ml bottle, as Kloster Scheyern Kloster-Export Dunkel, bought at Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.4%. Mahogany coloured beer, moderate off-white to beige head. Moderate aroma of brown bread. The flavour is moderately malty with notes of caramel and brown bread, but it is not too sweet. Just enough hops to make this a fairly well-balanced and drinkable dunkel.

500 ml bottle. Poured a clear ruby brown colored beer with a two fingers beige creamy head that had a very long retention. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is slight roasted and caramel malts, dark fruits. The flavour is toasted malts, coffee beans, a touch of spices, licorice and notes of caramel. The mouthfeel is very smooth and quite watery. This medium bodied beer has a toasted malty finish. An in short average beer.

Bottled@Björntasting. Reddish amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel malts, some sugary notes as well as some dark dry fruits and raisins. Flavour is dark fruits, some mild toasted notes as well as rather burnt sugary as well.
