Rye Saison As you wind down a worn country road, the canopy of leaves above seemingly begin to change colour in front of your eyes. The lively greens of summer are transforming into the vibrant oranges, yellows and reds of fall. You round a sharp corner as a fog rolls in off the lake just ahead. As it passes by you feel it fading the memories of another summer now past. With it, a feeling of melancholy mixed with nostalgia moves through you. Then you smile as you realize how much you love this time of year. You look to the horizon and embrace the exciting changes still to come!

Enjoyed on tap at the Loon. Pours a hazed golden colour with an amber hue, white head and good lacing. Belgian Ale yeast nose with fruity malt notes, spices and a little hop. Same for the taste but with the grassy hops showing more, creating some nice bitterness in the finish. Hints of oranges and apples. A very nice refreshing Saison with the rye that is pretty well-hidden.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours a fair size frothy off white head and has a pale golden appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Aromas are strong citrusy notes, oranges and spices. Flavours are mainly bitter citrus hops, oranges, yeasty notes. The rye is more noticeable in the finish. Sort of a sour tarty like mouthfeel. Good retention. Somewhat heavily carbonated. Quite enjoyable.
