Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
After missing this year's National Capital Craft Beer Festival, had to had this one at home, as last year, had a blast with brewmaster Sam at the fest. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a nice white head that is frothy, but gets creamy with long retention and lots of lacing. Fresh grass nose with hints of pine and citrus. Also, Belgian Ale yeast, blonde ale grain and some fruity notes. The taste is nicely balanced between the hoppiness, the blonde grain and the Belgian Ale yeast. A very nice mix between and Belgian Strong Ale and an IIPA. Bomber from the LCBO 9% ABV, written on label.

At Arrow and Loon. Pours a very thin coating and has a pale golden appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas are very fruity, grapefruit notes, citrus and floral hops. Flavours are also pretty fruity, with grapefruit again, citrus hops, tangy notes, sweet malts. Has a fairly astringent mouthfeel and a tarty like bitterness in the finish. Bitterness and sweetness somewhat balanced, more to the bitter side though. Recently had bottled version (650ml, 7.95) Poured an insane amount of frothy head. Everything else pretty much the same.
