This dry-hopped lager’s distinctive flavor comes from boiling mash being added back into the brew. Traditionally German. Uniquely Saranac. Totally delicious.

Sampled on 3/16/2014. This Vienna/amber pours a medium amber color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is malty and sweet, apples and some brown sugar. A medium bodied Vienna, The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. A touch of apples and brown sugar. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
