Finally got around to trying this, a gift from Blue Lou. The most remarkable thing about this beer is the unique pull tab bottle cap - very cool! That said, the beer itself is quite drinkable and actually a fine example of a standard European lager. Pale yellow, soft malt and understated hops with a light mouthfeel and clean grassy flavor. Thanks, Louis, for this taste of Sarajevo. I Need Another Pivo! Clear pale yellow, small white foam head. Flat aroma and taste, nothing more to it. Probably great when consumed in country with nice dinner. Shared can with Dean. (Den Haag 201509)

Meh. Nothing offensive, but nothing too redeeminf either. Light corn and grassy hops (and a little alchyhaul) make up the entire aroma and flavor profile.

Bosnia, suck it Dzeko! .. . {pours a medium gold, decent lager head, light spots of lacing .. . aroma of corn, corn husk, burlap sack, and hay .. . a refreshing lager, no frills, and seeing as i love trying lagers from exotic parts of the world- enjoyable! . Thanks Lou .. . No! Not a dream! While she was sleeping? I don't know, scientists may want to study her.

You know...not the worst beer in the world. Compared to a lot of pale swill I've tried, this isn't so bad I guess. A nice gift from Blue Lou, thanks brother for this one- I don't know if I would have ever been able to acquire it elsewhere. Clear yellow, no head no lacing. Clean and malty, little bits of maize. hops on the nose, and some grassiness as well. But fairly neutral bier. Thanks Louis!

Clear yellow body, large white pillow of a head and spotty lacing. Primarily absent aroma, but I was able to detect a faint grassy scent. Soft body, somewhat soothing and very light. Grassy, grainy flavor with very mild floral and fruit qualities. A lager to be slammed down....the cool cap mechanism was interesting.

Gift from a fellow beer loving friend - knew I try exotic and foreign beers. Very cool bottle in that it has a unique bottle cap that has a pull tab on it. Watery pale yellow pour with minimal head and virtually no lacing. Sweet malt aroma with a slight bit of wet corn flakes. Taste is a bit thin with a slight sweet maltiness and a bit of hops in the end.

Very pale yellow color. Foam is quite rich and stable. Aroma is weak hoppy and maybe a little bit corny. Taste is uninteresting and weak. Aftertaste is bitter and refreshing with some hints of fruits and hops.

Yellow colour, mediumized white head. Aroma is maize, sweet malts and some perfume. Flavour is citrus, malts and grass. Not totally horrible. Very mouthdrying.

Sarajevsko Pivo is a very good beer. It's light, but has that flavor (which I can't describe) of many eastern European beers. I wish it was availible here in the US.
