Pours a beautiful clear chestnut with a rather thick and frothy pale tan head. Aroma is strong and seriously hoppy, with resin and grapefruit underpinnings, promising a first-class IPA. Aroma is - HOLY MOLEY, this one will get your palate's attention! Hoppy note bold as a pit bull, quite bitter; a dump truck full of grapefruit, and an alcohol bite like a tiger shark add up to HEY BOSTON BREWING HIRE ZACK ADAMS RIGHT AWAY!!! Texture is firm, smooth, and rather fizzy, leaving a woody and fruity finish. Magnificent indeed!

Really impressed with this one, especially at this low price point. Dark and dank, citrusy and spicy. Very complex aroma and flavor. Malty, but more than adequately hoppy and aromatic, with a pretty nice sticky body. Looking forward to a couple more of these.

Solid IPA. Leaning towards a West Coast. I liked the second sample better. Hands down the best one in this Longshot series. Reminds me of the Centennial IPAs that are going around. Semi-clear amberish appearance. Decent amount of pine and citrus/grapefruit hop here. Malt balance is nice....tastes like some rye in there too. Good job Zach and Pat!

Pours a rust-toned, amber body with brilliant clarity and a medium-small, brief, near white head, that leaves some great lace almost all the way down.Aromas of toasted bread, dark brown sugar, hoppy notes smelling a bit spicy, and citrus/grapefruit.Flavors of bready malts, with caramel and brown sugar sweetness. Then, in comes the spicy, lightly resinous, woodsy, hops with, again, like with the aroma, some fruitiness, citrus leaning, mainly grapefruit. Medium bitterness. Tangy, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body, and carbonation.
