Golden sea is a collaboration beer brewed together with Ellen and Martin from Krecher in Oslo. Since they started up they have been knocking out top notch beers while requests for a Salikatt x Krecher collaboration ticked in our inbox. Given the portfolio of both Krecher and Salikatt it was pretty obvious that this was going to be a double NEIPA! The beer was brewed with a grain bill rich in oats and dry hopped generously with Citra, Galaxy and Vic Secret hops. To top it off we added mango, guava and peach for a real fruited doble IPA. Cheers!

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Hillevåg. ABV is 8.0%. Opaque dirty yellow to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of mango, guava and peaches. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of said fruits, lactose, oatmeal and citric hops. Too much of the good stuff, really, and a bit too far out on the sweet side. Still nice to drink.
