This Beer was brewed to save your palate from the heavy foods and sweet pastries that come with Christmas. The Beer is dry and crisp, as a west coast IPA should be, and with an assertive bitterness. This years version is hopped with Centennial, Chinook, and Columbus hops for a dank, citrusy, and piney hop character. God Jul!

440 ml can, as Salikatt Christmas on Fire West Coast IPA, from Vinmonopolet Sola. Vintage is not printed on the can, but the ABV is 7.5%, so it must be the 2023. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of orange marmalade and citric hops, a hint of woodwork. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, notes of bitter oranges, pine needles and resinous bittering hops.
