12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw yellow with a medium fluffy white head that goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet corny malts with a touch of fruit and metallic noble hops.

The flavor is subdued - sweet grainy bready malts with a touch of fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Overall, an OK lager, kind of bland.

Somwhat opaque golden yellow with small foam head. Aroma is bit of sweet, some orange. Taste is slow toned German pilsener, again son sunny fruits (orange, mandarin). (Houston 201310)

From Suds McDuff. Nice clear light honey color with a short white head and little lacing. Aromas of sweet malts, some honeysuckle, very slight apples. Taste is lightly sweet with a very light honey flavor, some lemongrass and light malts. Very tasty, very satisfying. Thank you Suds!

Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This Kolsch pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, grain, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Kolsch. The malts are fruity and sweet, a touch of banana and clove. The hops are herbal. Nice carbonation, Light and refreshing. Crisp and clean. Great lawnmower beer, very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Still drinking my first one, golden yellow body with thin head fair lacing, the initial smell was kinda strange (not in a good way). Tastes a little grassy, and slightly malty. This is my first sample of the kolsch style beer, i will have to try a few more to get a good feel for them. Anyway this isnt a bad beer, its fairly average.

Average beer because it is designed that way. This is a really good Lawnmower beer. Everything about it is average. This really goes well with work on a summer day. Not a bad price either. Please stay away from big brewers, drink this instead!

Bottle. Poured a clear pale-yellow color with a thick, white head. Slight, slight lacing. Looks like a Bud Light, to be honest. Aroma was okay, consisting of pine and hops. Mouthfeel was a big plus, especially considering how it looked. Flavor is consistant with (if not better than) other good Kolsch beers. Would be a nice session beer on a hot summer day. Note: I had this at the Saint Arnold Brewery in Houston in 2001, and I remembered it being a whole lot better than it was just now. If you like this style of beer, this will be a good choice for you.

Clear blonde with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is very light. Touch of citrus a bit of grass. Not a lot else. The flavor is clean and fairly crisp with a light cereal-malt backbone. Not really bad for what it clearly says it is. Refreshing and light bodied.

POurs with a pale yellow body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s slightly sweet and grassy with an underlying maltiness and a touch of hops. Light bodied, watery and smooth.

..This time the beer was awesome! Great apple-like smell, nice head and a good taste that also has a slight apple sweetness with a good amount of bitters.
