Tasted on tap at the Celebrator Best of the West Beerfest on 2/15/2009. This Quad pours a medium amber color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, dark fruit and sweet. A medium to full bodied quad. The malts are dark fruits, raisins, and brown sugar. The hops are earthy. Good carbonation. A big sweet fruity tasting quad. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.
