This month we are so excited to launch another edition of our Sigil Series with artwork from Taylar Dobbie (@taylardobbietattoos) of Grey Harbour Tattoo (@greyharbourtattoo!) ?? Sigil Series is a passion project of our Head Brewer, Matt. This series allows for some creative space for Matt to design recipes with a more personal theme. They are usually named after a song from one of his favourite bands that he believes really fits the mood of the beer itself. Plus, pairing up with some of his favourite local tattoo artists means we get to support and engage with our community while being a little bit experimental with the artwork. Haunted Arches is a Dark Beer that will please all stout and porter fans. It's fermented with Kveik (Norwegian Farmhouse Yeast) and comes in a 650ml bottle. It pours a very dark brown with a beautiful cappuccino coloured head that leaves lacing after every sip. A complex aroma of chocolate, burnt coffee, licorice, pumpernickel, raisins. Tawney Port, wet wood, walnuts, damp earth, and caramel waft up from the glass. The swallow is equally complex, with chocolate and hazelnut notes leading into dark rum and burnt toast. Caramel comes up underneath and counterpoints an earthiness that brings intrigue. The beer finishes warm and nutty with a hint of mocha
