Pours a clean, very light golden-yellow colour with bubbly white head, more retention than expected for mead, leaving a little ring of tiny bubbles around. Some nice pear-like aromas with the grassy dry-hopness. This continues in the taste, and the honey part is not too sweet, nor syrupy, helped by these hops. It goes down much nicer than I thought it would. Thin, crisp and slightly carbonated. Gets a tad hazy, slightly unfiltered at last pour. Yeah, this is very well done to be a drinkable mead for beer lovers.

The mead pours a slightly hazed ginger ale colour with absolutely no head. The aroma is strong on the honey, and light on the earthy hops and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour has a furniture polish tinge too it, along with super sweet honey notes. This was a drainpour sorry to say.
