The glutenous black rice used in this beer has a rich history. It was named forbidden rice due to its scarcity, and was reserved for the ancient Chinese emperors to be used in tribute dishes. This majestic rice imparts deep nutty and floral notes of rose, hibiscus, and black tea, with hints of strawberry and vanilla. Followed by a nice dry and crisp finish on the palate.
