A dark brown medium bodied ale with a thick tan colored head. It had a faint aroma of roasted nuts and caramel. This beer was not the usual sweet tasting brown ale because it was dry with a strong taste of roasted malts that tasted more like fresh roasted nuts. A delicious beer worth seeking out if in the Watkin Glens, NY area.

This had a very strong caramely aroma which was quite nice. It poured an almost pitch black coloring in the glass with a large, foamy head. The taste was strong as well....the caramel flavoring as well as a hint of chocolate came through. This was the best, in my opinion, that Rooster Fish had to offer.
