Tasted at the 2004 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. Medium orange color, slightly cloudy. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Mostly apricots and peaches. Medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Nice bright yeasts. Very sweet. Lots of fruit esters. Lots of banana and clove flavors. Nice and smooth. Might have been a little young yet, sort of a chaotic mix of ester, carbonation and yeasts. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This belgian style ale pours with a very cloudy orange body topped by a medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma and flavor are sweet, fruity (banana) and full of clove. Lots of spice and yeast in this beer. Medium to full bodied, smooth and a touch dry.
