COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION: This Belgian style pale ale is particularly great on the hottest summer day with enough hop character and body to stand up to old man winter. Light in color it has crisp taste with fruit notes from banana to pear with a touch of citrus. We hope you will enjoy ordering it as much as drinking it.

I had this beer at a Salem Red Sox game. It wasn't terrible and a good attempt by a very small local brewery to bring something interesting to the beer scene. I would have it again. I would've liked a tad more hops and a bit more belgian funk. It was a bit wishy-washy on those fronts and it shouldn't be ... after all, it's a self-proclaimed Belgian Pale Ale. Roanoke Railhouse, my advice to you, take the risk and take it BIG for the next batch!
