Liquid Sweet Tarts. Lightly cloudy straw yellow gold pour, bubbly short white head, some lacing. Funky tart and sour yeasty aroma and palate, floral, lemons and berries, more tart and funk all in a bubbly effervescence that lingers exquisitely. Liquid Sweet Tarts indeed.

Pours a light, rather clear golden color, with little to no haze in the body of the beer. Hardly any head to speak of; just a few bubbles on the top. No lacing. The aroma is light and subtle fruits at first before moving towards a more traditional tart gueuze scent. Fruity scents are predominantly apple, but also a little bit of lemon in there. A little bit of acetic dryness is towards the end, as well as some light oak character. The taste starts with a mild tart flavor that is mostly acetic. Fruits play second fiddle to the tartness, but once again, apple and lemon are the fruit flavors. Some dry flavors with a little bit of the oak like in the scent. A little musty towards the end, and the tart, mildly sour flavor lingers for just a little bit. The mouth feel is smooth, but very low levels of carbonation.
