Pours slightly hazy mahogany with a nice buff head. Aroma offers tart dark fruit, toasted malt, caramel, and a hint of hops. Flavor continues the tart fruit and malt more than the caramel or hops, but still good. Mouthfeel features fair body and fizz. Soulless, but spirited.

A deep dark ruby colored beer. There’s not much head and no lacing after a two fingered frothy light beige pour. Low carbonation, nearly syrupy body. A tartness from cherries and raisons. Not the best of the genre but drinkable.
