    $3.50
The beer pours a translucent dark copper colour with a half inch light brown creamy head. Lacing is minimal. The aroma is yeast, tart cherries, and grass. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is nicely balanced between the sweet and tart cherry flavours and there is a lingering bitterness that comes with Belgian red and brown sours. A great beer….what took me so long!

330ml bottle from LCBO. Pours an average size foamy bubbly tan head that stays a bit, but then dissipates to a very thin layer. Has a deep dark amber appearance with ruby highlights. Weak lacing. Excessive carbonation. Aromas dark fruit, plums. Flavours are mostly dark and dry type fruits, raisins, plums. Has some sourness on the palate, quite immediate. Full bodied and fizzy mouthfeel.

Pours out a dark brown color the has a dark red hue especially when a light is held up to the glass. The aroma is of vinegar. The mouthfeel is rich but not thick. The taste is refreshing and has a sweet and sour blend of cherries.

Pours crystal clear dark reddish brown color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head. Good retention, that leaves dense foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of green apple, cherry, raspberry, pear, floral, hay, grass, oak, light vinegar, light red wine, funk, and grassy earthiness. Nice balance and complexity of fruity notes; with moderate malt sweetness and good strength. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent beer. Nice complexity and balance of flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

My first sour outside of Rowlands. Quite taste. Light on the sour with a hint of fresh apple cider and pears. complex both in body and in flavor. Good malt. good head though it faded quickly. not a heavy belgian yeasty, instead a balanced yeast.

How have I not rated this before? I've had it multiple times, and it's still a beautiful beer. Pours a clear, bright ruby red colour with a creamy white head. Nose is sour and fresh. Taste is tart, raspberry, cherry and yeast.

Dark Ruby color and obvious sweet taste. Crispy sweet on tongue with many red wood fruits present and yet still a beer taste. Interesting beer which we always drink as a final beer, a desert.

Started out good, nice sweet sugar and sour fruit aroma, red/brown colored beer. The flavor is what killed it for me, too sweet and not sour enough for the style. It's unique, has it's own thing going, just didn't care for it by the end of the glass.

Easily the best beer, or at least my favorite, at our KnoxBeerCrew tasting on 02/26/2012. Clear ruby pour with a touch of amber, little head nor lacing. SweetTart aroma - like candy - sour, tart, then sweet, balsamic vinegar, tart cherries, sour grapes, woodsy, and complex goodness. Taste is not nearly as tart as the nose, welcoming light sour to tart to sweet, again rich fruits: tart cherries, sour grapes, a touch of green apple, hint of sweet apple vinegars, some oaken woodsiness. An exquisite beer. Beautiful, complex, satisfying.
