Flavors of vanilla and espresso, Roebling is Imperial Robust Porter. It’s like a big, chewy, vanilla coffee infused brownie.

Taps opaque chocolate with a good fine-bubbled creamy buff head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma presents roast malt, vanilla, coffee, and a hint of chocolate. Flavor delivers all of the above and tosses in some tangy pomme fruit and a dash of - fish? Mouthfeel features firm, smooth body and lively fizz. Drink you a river - but please do so responsibly.

Nitro on tap in a flight @ The Hourglass Brewery in Longwood, FL. A murky dark brown appearance with a frothy mocha head. Super creamy texture with a lighter feel....especially for almost 8%. Flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla, and quite heavy on the coffee. A tad on the sweeter side which could add up if drinking a lot of. Solid beer that I would be willing to try a full sample of.

Pours out totally black with a thin tan head. The aroma is of vanilla. The mouthfeel is solid almost thick. The taste is vanilla, coffee and coco. Not a complex beer but very good for my taste.

A dark brown colored beer with a small, two fingered sudsy textured, off white head rising briefly above,. Not much lacing left. Vanilla, fresh light vanilla dominates the profile in nose and tasting. Light medium bodied. Light medium bodied. Refreshing.

The aroma is a bit off I think but it is more than made up for by the appearance and flavor. Is there any better way to add coffee to a beer than with roasted malts? I love the combo and this is a great example. Also really liked how the head fluffs up as its poured, a really nice beer, thanks kinger.

I am captivated by this porter, unlike any other I've had. Dark brown body producing a 1/4" lasting tan head and streaky lacing. Silky smooth, medium bodied, sweet and gritty. A medly of desserts mix up chocolate syrup, vanilla, butter cream, and mildly roasted coffee. Very unique profile, nice to sip on.

pours a dark brown body with ruby highlights and yielded a half a glass of tan head which dispated slowly leaving some lacing. The aroma was faint at first, but as it warmed the chocolate and vanilla aromas came out. The taste starts out with some chocolate and then I get some vanilla in the middle. Some chocolate lingers on my palate after each drink. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy toasty goodness, full mouthfeel pleasure, leads to a nice dry coco finish. I am not a fan of stouts and porters but this one wasn't bad at all.

On tap @ Archer's Tavern, Centerville, OH. Near black pour, ultra dark brwon, with a tight sustained cream colored head and tons of lacing throughout. Big vanilla aroma upfront, then cocoa and black coffee. Nice vanilla flavor upfront too quickly followed by nicely bittered coffee and then some semi-sweet chocolate, all with a nice light bitter linger. Super easy to drink, nice and flavorful, a great dessert beer.
