Bottle bought at The Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam - best before 27.11.10 .. . Pours a murky pond brown, good stable head .. . light bbq, sweet smoke, and bacon band aid .. . a simple rauch, but still a good smokey, then again you could smoke a dog turd, blend and liquefy it, bottle it and call it "Rauchen Hundescheiße" and i'd still love it; yes, i love smoked beers!

Swing top bottle. Poured an amber brown colored beer with a one finger slight beige foamy head that had a long retention. Active carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is mild smoked malts. The flavour is smoked malts, smoked ham, resinous hops, hints of dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is slight crispy and smooth. This light to medium bodied beer has a nice and long mild smoked malts finish. Exactly its mild smoked level give this beer its own charm. For me, a great smoked beer.
