This German-Style Winter Wheat Ale is smooth and malty. This ale is made with imported wheat malts, including both dark roasted and light wheat malts, as well as dark roasted barley malts. Using a Southern German Wheat yeast, which lends light banana aroma and clove and vanilla flavors, this Traditional German Winter Wheat Ale has a nice wintery spice. With the addition of only a small amount of quality German variety hops, just enough to balance the malty sweetness, this is the perfect Ale for those cool Winter nights in the desert.

Dark black color. Medium head. Aroma is roasted malts and cherries. A medium bodied dark bock. Malts are roasted and fruity (cherries and plums). Hops are slightly spicy. Very fruity. Interesting beer, very fruity for a bock. Was fruity added? Well balanced. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
