Poured from the tap, color is a muddy amber-brown with a medium light tan head and minimal lacing. Soft chocolate aroma that's nutty with a hefty roasted sweetness. Medium bodied with a surprisingly assertive bitterness. Very well balanced, rich and creamy. Outstanding flavor, lots of depth. Creamy malts with hints of toasted bread, nuts, burnt chocolate, and caramel. Slightly grassy with plenty of fresh noble hops. Great rendition of a hard to find style.

Pours a medium reddish brown with a good, airy head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with a solid caramel maltiness. The flavor is malty with only a little hops.
