Zutaten : Wasser, Gerstenmalz ( Pilsener Malz, Steffi, Münchner Malz ), Weizenmalz, Hopfen ( Hallertauer Perle, Opal, Simcoe ), Hefe. Perfekt zu : Asiatischem, Fisch, hervorragend als Aperitif.

Opaque golden yellow, bit lasting off-white foam head. Nice hoppy aroma and fine bitter taste. Lasting bitterness in aftertaste. OK this beer. (Katwijk 201708)

660 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered and cloudy amber-orange coloured IPA with a generous two fingers slightly beige, fine, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is deep piney hops, a juicy fruits salad, grapefruits, passion fruits, oranges, pineapples mixed with dried fruits, raisins. The flavour is a fruity and woody hoppy bitterness on a solid malty base, notes of caramel, fruity, grapefruits, apricots, passions fruits, citrus, pineapples. The mouthfeel is light crispy, quite thin, smooth and bitter. The texture is watery. This light to medium bodied IPA has a lingering hoppy bitter finish. A very nice and pleasant intrusion of a Bavarian brewer in a British beer style. The result is convincing. A real success.
