The best looking pour in the series, copper gold with decent fluffy white head. Nose is all stale corn and stanky old hops. Flavor is a mess, a jumble of sweetness and staleness and unbalanced bitter. Not good.

Bread/grain and a spicy hop note dominate the aroma and flavor of this one. Nice body to it, but a little harsh in the finish. Ridgeway's beers don;t seem to be as cool as their labels, unfortuantely.

It pours a light golden/amber with thick white head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, faint hops, bread & yeast, citrus, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and has good body. Flavors of bready caramel malts, hops, citrus, light tea leaves, alcohol and mild spiciness. It's good overall, but I like the bottle better.

So I’m told this elf is badder than the one I sampled yesterday. This one a crystalline reddish amber colored ale. Big frothy head. Not much hang time, though, settling into a light lacing. The smell is singularly the sweetness of malt. The body is moderate, with a decent smoothness. The taste is sweet malt and pine hops. Again a decent drink, not a ‘WOW’ ale, though.

thanks H+A! ... smell needs major improvement ... heads abit low for my liking ... golden copper in colour ... hides the abv quite well ... lacing is very nice ... smooth and drinkable but lacks that special something to make it stand out ... 'jiminy jilikers'

Smells crudely virago. Appearance of gormlus batise. Tastes like mesomorphic demode. Pertinacious foozle for a palate. Medacious plunderbun and pell-mell maelstrom. Choplog alogism. The finish is a barmecidal fool’s paradise.

I got just a glimpse of the color; it is orangy or coppery. Aroma is not strong but malty and spicy, rather inviting. Flavor is mainly malty with some spice undertones, not strong or rich but still pleasing. This is a good party beer to sip while talking with friends or playing a game.

Orangeish golden colour, small beige head, lacing. Aroma is hops, caramel and earth. Flavour is spices, caramel, toffee, fruity hops and even a bit candy sugarish. Hides it’s alcohol well. Smooth and easy to drink. Also a lot of banana.

Pours a clear amber with a smaller head. The aroma is intense malt and an alcoholic bite. The flavor is malty, there's a faint teasing hop in the back, but the flavor has a sour aftertaste that kind of ruins the deal. The basic Bad Elf is far better.

Pours wtih an amber body topped by a thin head with a little lacing. It’s slightly sweet and toffeeish with a slight bitterness with grassy notes. Medium bodied and smooth. Rather boring.
