Bought in December in Antwerp. No picture of poored beer. Do not quite remember details, but tasted like a bock with a little more snap to it. I have to add this to my list. (Velp, 201201

Bottle: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet Belgian malt with some lightly spicy yeast. Taste is also dominated by some semi-sweet Belgian caramel malt with some spicy yeast and light dry hoppy finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no signs of alcohol. Overall I would say that this is a slightly above average Belgian ale - easily drinkable.

Bottle. Bottle refermentation. A deep amber colored ale with a thick creamy foamy head with an excellent retention, nice lacing and good carbonation. The aromas are aciditic fruits, hops and quite spicy. The flavors are sweet, with a touch of roasted, malts, caramel and a spicy-coriander feel. The mouthfeel is very smooth, under the sweet malts, the presence of alcohol is not to be denied. A medium bodied ale with a bit sour aftertaste. A well balanced begian ale.

Amber colour, mediumsized beige head and much lacing. Aroma is caramel, fruits and slight yeast. Flavour is yeast, citrus fruit and some slight hints of yeast and alcohol. Still a very nicely balanced beer.

Straight from the bottle, so I can't rate appearance fairly, going with the average of the other two ratings I see. The aroma was fruity with some bread and yeast. The flavor followed suit with some apples and light cherries in there. Very light touch of caramel in the finish alongside the bread. Pretty nice beer to drink, too bad it is 7% and can't easily be consumed in high volumes.

Light peach orange color, slightly cloudy. Large white rocky foamy head. Aroma is very fruity (oranges and apples) and bready and yeasty. A medium bodied Belgian ale. Malts are sweet and fruity, with oranges, apples, pears and apricots. Yeasts are bready with a touch of banana and clove. Nicely balanced. Light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
