2018 description Time to get philosophical. Ever imagine coming to the end of a pier and wishing it just kept going? This is the same existential worm hole you will fall down when drinking this Double IPA. So go on, take one step further, one more sip. Allow the calm and clean tasting malt backbone to give way to a maelstrom of hops (Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus) that are rich, earthy and devastatingly tasty. 2015 Description Time to get philosophical. Ever imagine coming to the end of a pier and wishing it just kept going? This exact feeling will be exhumed when experiencing this Double IPA. So go on, take one step further, one more sip, miracles may just occur.

Pours a clean amber colour with a warm frothy cap, long lasting with loads of lacing. Aromas of grassy hops giving citrus and pine notes, over the caramel malts. Nice bitterness, but not crazy dry mouthfeel. Some nice hops lingers, all well-blended with the caramel malts. A very easy-drinking Double IPA.

A very nice caramel colour with a thick, long lasting cap gives way to a very smooth palate. Indicative of the style. Highly drinkable and not at all overly bitter/pucker inducing. I denote hints of grapefruit, and even the yeast & malt. And you most certainly cannot taste the alcohol.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a generous white head that creates blotchy lacing. Lemon, pine, floral and cat pee aroma. Wonderful flavour of all the good things you would want to find in a double IPA. Piney, grapefruit, citrus and a bit of spice. The malt is there in the background. Medium mouthfeel with a bitter dry finish. Hope to get more from this brewery. Think I'll get more of this tomorrow.
