Pours a hazy golden. Slight blush. This is a still mead. Indestinct honey aroma with a good bit of vanilla and slightly less cinnamon spicing, although the cinnamon still might qualify as a bit heavy handed. Sweet, but not the syrupy sweet of some of the heavier meads like Apis Jadwiga. Nice spicing in the finish as well as a lemon zest that would have me convinced they actually added lemon zest if I didn't know better.
