July 2010 - On tap, sample, Portsmouth location. Fluorescent gold, minimal lacing. The aroma was that of pear juice. It’s sweet, malty and syrupy. The flavor was grainy and syrupy pear, an odd cardboard-like finish. Not watery, as many RH brews tend to be, but not excellent.

a little citrus atop a straw colored not doing much beer. pretty much what i'd expect from the style and the brewer, but hey...it was free. watcha gonna do.

A straw yellow colored beer. Baraely a head appears. And it disappears quickly. Lots of bubbles in the glass. But no lacing. A dull malt aroma. The flavors are to laid back. Sweet, yeasty notes. Some lemon, too subtle at first to pick up. Some creaminess in a light to light-moderate body would make this a decent session beer.

I enjoyed this very drinkable beer. It had classic blonde color and hoppy aroma. Hops did not dominate the flavor, and it was very smooth. A first rate, second rate beer from the mix-pack.

Way too sweet for me. Light brown/off-amber color with a slight head. It's a smooth drink, but wholely unimpressive in every sense. It has citrus undertones that might make it a decent summer beer, but there are better ones out there.

A decent beer. Golden brown pour with a light white head. Not much of an aroma. Flavor is somewhat hoppy but smoothe. Goes down pretty smoothe with not much else for flavor.

Pours yellowish copper with white head that does not last. The flavor is mild malted grains, hint of fruit. Malty, doughy nose with slight hint of fruit and citrus.

Golden body, with a very thin head. Splotchy lace. Subtle malt/roasted grain aroma, but overall very acrid. Mild banana, wheat and some bittering hops in the flavor profile. Somewhat lively carbonation, yet a very smooth mouthfeel. Outside of the aroma, I found this beer to be rather enjoyable.

I really liked this one. Poured a medium blnde with medium white head. There was very thin if any lacing The aroma was mild. There were hints of grain but overall it simply had a clean refreshing aroma. The flavor was equally clean and fresh. This was a fine accompanment to the chicken pot pie. Nothing like pub grub on a refreshingly cool late summer day.

Uneventful brew from a rather mediocre brewer, this blonde is forgettable. Dark gold pour with a good creamy head and decent lacing. Plain cereal aroma very boring and extremely faint. The beer has a decent malty body that's lightly bitter, but there's a soapy tacky finish that detracts from it. Flavor is a major yawn, not much involved here. Some grainy malt and very mild hops, slightly off balance. I'm off the hook with this one.
