500 ml from a 5 l mini-cask, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Rechenberger Dunkel stemmed Pokal a rich burgundy coloured Dunkel with a generous one finger tan, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, caramel and riped fruits, plums. The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, dark riped fruits, plums, raisins, honey and chocolate notes. The mouthfeel is amazing smooth. This light to medium bodied Dunkel has a dry malty finish. An amazing smoothness and a rich flavoured Dunkel from an absolutely "unknown" small brewery located close to the czech boarder. For me, without doubt, a favorite !
