Clear orange small fluffy lacing foam head. Strong bitter aroma and so also taste. Very bitter, also in aftertaste. Think my taste buts however were off due to lunch. (Houston 201408)

Comes out of the tap a hazy, barely translucent golden with a thick, fine-bubbled ivory head. Strong aroma is seriously hoppy, very evergreen, with an underpinning of grapefruit. Richly hoppy flavor is quite resiny, a little bitter, with notes of grapefruit and Mandarin orange in attendance. Firm texture leaves a good, persistent fizz. Discover this treasure!

I have been looking for this one for a few years now, it has been a limited release, available on tap only and was usually sold out when i got there. I rated the aroma low not because it was bad but it wasnt very aromatic at all, very faint hints of pine, and floral notes. Nice copper body, ok head and a fair amount of thick lace. Flavor (thankfully) was more pronounced with malt at first and the floral taking a brief hold, finishing with a pine/ grapefruit finish, nice bitterness. Overall a decent brew, and i am happy to have finally found it. --P.S. i went to my favorite beer store an hour after finally finding this beer and found out that its is bottled now, how about that?

Pours pale copper with perfect clarity and small, scattered head. Aroma boasts bright herbal notes and light pine character. The base flavor is amply malty, but by no means balances the fantastic hoppy bitterness. Light-to-medium bodied with strong, bit not offending, carbonation.

Sampled on draft at the Flying Saucer, Addison. Pours gold with a lot of lacing. Mild hippy aroma. Nicely bitter with loads of piney, floral hops. Much hoppier than the aroma foreshadowed. A worthy effort.

been wanting to try this for quite a while ... went to boondoggles and they knew nothing... lacing is extraordinary, low head but very stable and crazy good foam .. smug? ... is a rich golden colour ... nice bitters ... a good beer, didn't quite meshing with the others.. another great brew from Real Ale..
