Another pleasant brew that was closer to the traditional style than I imagined. Dark fruit and light spice on the nose and palate, with a barely descernable hop presence. Finishes slightly dry, spicy, and a little sweet, showing barely any of the abv.

Must admit this one was a bit cold as the flavors and aromas didnt come out for some time. Anyways this one was dominated by the dark malts, coffee, toffee, dark fruits like raisin and plum, there was some sugar sweetness as well. Overall it wasnt quite what i was expecting, but nice non the less, i will buy some more and re-rate it.

Pours a deep bruised purple .. . mild foam, good lacing.. . deep raisin, very mild booze, purple molasses, and grape .. . easy drinking and enjoyable- a year or two should make this magic .. . . then run along you little scamp, a boy without mischief is like a bowling ball without a liquid center....
