How do you describe a “style” that isn’t? For a brewer, the Grand Cru isn’t so much a style, as it is the proudest offering of their style, a toast to the great harvest sown by their brewing labors. This stylistic freedom has allowed us to produce a Grand Cru that is both unfiltered and unabashed in its essence and intentions. Not only does this Cru have character, it is a character. Our GC opens with an aroma redolent of orange and pepper. Tasting offers up orange with hints of pear and stone fruit, moving into toffee, and concluding with a dry peppery finish.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

Browinsh/ orange body with a thin slightly tan head that leaves some decent lace. Aromas of malt, earth, incredibly faint fruits as well. Flavors start with a rich maltiness, bits of pepper, dark fruit and toffee in the finish. Overall havent had this style in a while, but this is rich and tasty, i liked it..
