Vancouver Special IPA is named for the box-like houses built in East Vancouver, BC between 1965 & 1985. Big & sturdy, they commonly feature low-pitched roofs, front balconies, & brick & stucco finishes. The Vancouver Special is truly an iconic East Van original. A hop dominant IPA featuring Pacific Northwest hops.

Bomber from Central City. Clear amber pour under a finger's worth of creamy white head. Aroma had citrus and pine, with lesser amounts of caramel. Mouthfeel was okay. Flavour reflected the aroma. Nothing special.
