This was way better than I expected, but now that I think of it, rick and barry brews are that way sometimes. Poured fairly thick, black, light tan head, really good head. Couple streams of bubbles kept rising in the glass like a pepsi for a while. Aroma is every so slightly decaf coffee, little roasted barley, something vaugely soapy though decidedly beery is in there, but hidden (perhaps just that I havent drank a stout under 10% in a really long time now). The taste is nice, weak off the start but a great bitter coffee finish that lasts and makes me salivate. This is much better than expected. Brown toast thick sliced. Thats about it I think. Smooth and good.

A nice offering from R&B. It poured thick and dark like an oatmeal stout should, with the prerequisite creamy tan head and a pleasing aroma of roasted/toasted malts paired with some burnt coffee. Tasted just like that, too. Mouthfeel was right smooth, and it finished well.
