A german-style wheat beer traditionally brewed for "Starkbierzeit" the strong beer festival held in Munich during early spring. This beer was brewed using a traditioanl German brewing method, Decoction Mashing, which attributes to its darker color. The flavor has initial notes of toffee and raisens, then fades to the breadyness of the wheat. Made using 60% Briess Wheat malt, 40% Briess Munich Malt and hopped with German Hallertauer.

Dark muddy brown, no head with aroma and flavors of yeast and dried fruit. The complexity makes this interesting, but lacks... something to bind it all together.
