Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
It pours a nice golden body with a thick white head that quickly fades to a thin soapy covering, it leaves sporadic but thick lace on the glass. Aromas of Belgian yeast, banana, some fresh fruitiness with some spices added in too. Flavors of the Belgian yeasts, lemon and then the spices and a slight bitterness the fruits coming out in the aftertaste.. The beer goes down very smooth. This was a nice surprise, Rahr is kind of hit and miss, and this turned out pretty well. Worth a try..
