Spent a year in Czech Rep. living in Ostrava near where this was made, and this was my favorite drinking beer...clean, fresh taste. Long lasting perfect head(from Draught anyways). My favorite drinking Pilsner...and an awesome deal over there for about $.70 500ml

The Czechs usually make decent lagers, but this one falls short of the mark in so many places I don't know where to begin. A clear golden body with a decent sized white head. Aroma is cereal, yeast, and weak hops. Flavour has metallic notes in it.

This beer poured a dark golden color topped off my a fluffly white head that left a very small ammount of lace. The aroma was malty with a slight hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel was light bodied and refreshing, very smooth. The Flavor was very malty and balanced off nicely with just the right ammount of spicy sazz hops.

This dollar lager looked like an import but was made here in NY. Poured pale gold with a fluffy head. Creamy mouthfeel. I liked the musty scent. Lightly sweet grain was refreshing....it had a clean, pale base of flavor, with not too much going on. Finish was a bit thin and slightly dry. 'Heineken-pilsner' ill say

This beer pours a medium gold color with not much of a head. It has a little lacing. The mouthfeel is a step above a light beer, but just by a hair. I couldn't pick up much on the aroma. After a few tastes this beer got better, but it's not one of my favorite pilsners.

Bottle. Little head with a dark gold color. Malty and slightly skunky aroma. Tate is coppery with some dirt. A grassy finish that is not refreshing like a wheat beer. A little dissapointing.

Now the beer poured a good deep golden color..and it did have a white foamy head until i turned round for a minute and then it was gone leaving a nice enough laceing. This smells very good for a Czech lager ..almost like some German brews i love..quite surprisingly malty..nice. Tastes is also quite malty which i love in a lager..mm nice some floral trype hops and its sort of slightly spicy,,very good. It has a good taste but i think the mouthfeel is too thin. Overall an excellent drinking lager.

Sampled from bottle. Pours a clear, dark straw in color with a thin white head and scant lacing. Aroma is generally clean with some grass notes. Flavor is slightly bitter with a generous spicy, grassy (saaz) hop addition. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated. A very refreshing pilsner.

Pours a nice, clear copper with airy head (fades some) and nice lacing. Smells grainy and of pungent flowers. No skunk aroma at all. Great lager taste: balanced and refreshing. Light-bodied, easy-drinking session beer.
