In response to consumer requests, Quidi Vidi Brewing Company decided to brew a second seasonal brand, this time in a lighter - bodied style. At 5.5% alc/vol, Quidi Vidi Brewing Winter Beer is what they define as the perfect balance between the heavier-bodied ales of UK and Irish origin, like Mummers Brew and 1892 Traditional Ale, and lighter-bodied Northern American beers like Northern and Northern Light.

This is a British style ale (says so on the bottle), and not a lager. Since it's been discontinued, we'll never know the truth. Quite possibly the best offering that QV ever brewed. A copper coloured beer with a long lasting tan head. There was sweet caramel malt, and some floral hops in the aroma, and some good malty flavour with a bitter finish. Good beer!
