7%, you think this would be a touch more robust, but the body is a slight letdown. Otherwise, a solid interpreation, if not quite a standout. ample roast and chocolate, smooth, maybe a touch too sweet, but I liked it.

Surprised to be the first putting in a review here. This came in the holiday sampler. Deep, dark brown, with a tannish fizzy head that disappears all too quickly. Not much in the way of aroma...just a generic sweetness, almost like...cola? Chocolate and hints of coffee bitterness in the flavor. A clean and smooth beer at that. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth, medium-bodied; nice, but would be better if it was a bit thicker. Another good pyramid beer; I've never really been disappointed by them.
