After hops are processed into pellets, a magical sticky substance is left behind stuck to the walls of the machine. This substance know as “Hop Hash” is scraped off and collected as it’s made up of pure hop lupulin (that dank, aromatic, resiny stuff). We’ve used Idaho 7 hop hash combined with pilsner, vienna, and wheat malt to create one of the dankest of dank Double IPA’s.

Bomber from Central City. Poured looked average (not a bad thing), being a clear medium gold under a rocky ivory head. Okay hang time and some lacing with this one. A good nose, with ample helpings of grapefruit and pine resins. Solid mouthfeel, average at first and thickened as the glass warmed. Flavour replicated the aroma, and although I'm not sure I can discern "dankness", I think this one had it. Balanced finish. Quite a good effort.
