there were only a couple brews at Pike that i DIDN'T like, but this was the worst of em. A weak ass beer, even for a hefe. a muddled slightly unpleasant aroma atop an unassuming beer in both body and flavor. one to avoid.

Nice refreshing beer, but lacking a little in the wheat department. Sampled from draught pours a pleasent bright golden colour which is semi cloudy. Aroma is of pears and green apples. Taste is refreshing, clean but not at all wheaty.

This, to put it bluntly, did absolutely nothing for me. A Hefeweizen without any aroma, malt, or yeast. There was some Saaz'iness to the taste and back-end, but not nearly enough to make this anything but a "Lawnmower Beer" (i.e. a beer you want to slam down after a Summer day mowing the lawn). Unappealing alcohol presence that was also a bit out-of-character, inappropriate for the style, and just not welcome. The worst I've had from the Pike Pub in many years. //TB
