Fränken Bierausflug, Day#5, Brewery#24, Beer#52. Vom Faß at this eponymous Brauerei Gasthof. One of the many Pfister family members on duty served us this beer in a pewter-covered stein krug. Light amber in color with a long lasting thin white head leaving good lace. Aroma of spicy, sour hay. Soft and smooth mouthfeel. Flavors of mild and slightly soured grain and low hop bitterness. The finish was refreshing but a tad thin.
