Petrus Bordeaux is a smooth, velvety Flanders Red Ale aged in oak barrels for 2 years. A blend with a fresh, young brown ale keeps this beer balanced, giving it a soft roasted and caramel touch. Its name refers to the barrels used in the ageing process and the ruby red colour that reflects its warm and smooth finish. Do not be mistaken; thanks to the addition of a young brown ale to the barrel aged beer, it is extremely drinkable at only 5.5 ABV.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Deep reddish brown colour, huge off-white to beige head. Aroma of red wine, red berries, red wine vinegar and oak. Sweet and moderately sour flavour, notes of cheap red wine and oak, hints of caramel, minimal bitterness.
