A heavy dose of sourish yeast with hints of pinapple hits the nose and mouth simultaneously, leaving lingering, sweet woody notes on the tounge. its very yeasty and very tart.. all around decent to try

Pours golden with flecks of sediment floating around, probably because I had to walk 3 blocks with it before opening. Very fizzy head with good lacing. A real sour ale, and very welcoming after so many American sours I've had in recent years. Has a much more "natural" sourness of vinegar and green apple. A little sweet. Complex flavors. A nice beer, but certainly not for everyone.

Another bottle via Metalchopz. Pours a fair size frothy white head, great retention, has a golden appearance. Big sticky lacing. Excessive carbonation. Aromas of Belgian yeast, citrus and floral notes, some herbs. Flavours are very fruity and citrusy, big Belgian yeast notes, has quite a strong sour finish on the palate. Full body.

Best before is written 11/12/16 on bottom of back label. Pours a clean golden colour with a soapy white head, decent retention and bubbly lacing. Nice sour nose giving notes of vinegar and sweet white grapes. The sourness is most of the flavours, but a little chemical plastic and metal kind of ruin the fun in the finish. Grain lingers. Alcohol is well-hidden in the mouthfeel. Just wish the taste would be better balanced.

Pours golden yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is solid acid, unripe apples. Taste is sour, you realy have to bite in this. Don’t like it too much. Aftertaste is just sour, vinegar, but with some interesting tones through it.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours clear straw yellow with a medium frothy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is acidic sourness with some tart green apples and a little sweethearts.

The flavor is lots of acidic tart mouth-puckering sourness with some sweethearts. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice acidic sour. It's very sour and a little sweet and candy-like Duchesse, but not too sweet.

From Premier Gourmet (Kenmore, NY). Pour was clear, medium gold under a fluffy white head. Strong aroma, fruity and yeasty. Strong flavour, too, with yeasts and green apple. Sour and tart throughout. NOT sessionable.

pours a clear light golden with a small white head that is quick to dissipate and has lots of visible carbonation in the body and no lacing. The aroma is sour and tartness on a fruity level and very refreshing aspect to it entices you to take a sip. Almost a grape/wine like characteristic on the aroma. The taste is amazing with a strong funkiness, sour fruits, tart and dry alcohol. Love how the focus is on the sour and not as much the fruits. The mouthfeel is light body with very good carbonation. The sour aspect makes it very dry and extremely drinkable.

A sour, you say? I wasn't expecting that, but the minute I opened the bottle, it was apparent. Why call it a Pale Ale?! Maybe it isn't a very complex sour, but it's very nice. Smooth and sour (can you say that?). Refreshingly tart, but not overwhelming. Inticing.

C: hazed gold, brown hues, tan head
A: tart apples, yeast, citrus notes
    P: thin to medium
    F: tart fruit, grains, yeast
O: The sour malt is overpowering at the start, but complements the finish perfectly

Pours a hazy shimmering gold with a one and half finger clean white head. The mildly pungent nose is dominated by oak. Mildly tart and slightly sour throughout, oaky up front, mildly fruity and juicy with a touch of balancing sweetness midpalate, and finishes dry with more oak. This brew is refreshing and extremely well balanced.
