Pours a very slightly hazy dark amber to brown in color with a small light beige head which reduces to a thin layer over the entire surface of the beer with light to moderate lacing. The aroma is dominate by the malts with some caramel coming through as well as some hints of dark malts. The taste is slightly sweet with some caramel maltiness, overall a pretty malty beer with some hints of dark fruit. Very little hops/bitterness detectable. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate to high amounts of carbonation.

This tasted like a honey brown to me. Lots of sweet malty flavors like honey and caramel. Hops are barely noticable. I prefer my browns to have a hint of hops, but overall this had a good decent flavor. Appearance on the medium brown-amber side, with a smooth easy-drinkability mouthfeel. Probably more of a daytime/summer beer IMO.

A reddish brown body, not much head, only sparce lace left behind. Aroma and flavor of malt, slightly sweet. Not bad, but not good either, pretty average beer.

malty, with a light, hard to notice aroma. body is a bit thin, and there is a slight bitter aftertaste, but no hop aroma. nothing worth trying here...no surprises.

A very malty brew. More of a redish, ruby color than a brown. Nothing overbearing in the taste, but still good. Very smooth, would make a nice session beer.

Pours a clear amber color with a medium tan head. Aroma is hops and spice. Slightly bitter and dry. Spicy orange and malty hop flavors. Not excellent, but not bad, either.

This is what started my tour of darker beers. It has a decent flavor and some complexity in character. It's a bit filling, but a really nice looking beer in a glass. Worthy.

Pours a nice deep red/brown color, thin head, and so-so aroma. I was not impressed with this one. The flavor is so-so at best, and not my pick for a brown ale.

This is more like an amber ale than a brown IMHO. It pours reddish brown with a tight foam cap. The taste is good and crisp. It reminds me of Rogue amber ale with a little more malt. The finish is marzipan. A great beer for a great price.
