Purchased on my trip to Nashville in a one pint can. Pours a clean golden colour with a white head. Foamy with decent retention and very dirty lacing. Very light carbonation. Fresh grain scent with nice pils hop. Good bitterness with grass notes and some mild grain. Not a bad Euro lager with a nice creamy mouthfeel and pretty refreshing.

Another taker for the Trader Joe's "mystery bag." Slightly skunked smell (green glass). Not bad all things considered. Strong smell and taste of malt. Leaves a bit of a sour aftertaste.

Yeah, I was reeled in by the Trader Joe's deal too. Not horrible considering the price. There isn't much I can add other than it seems to present itself as pretty solid, low-end staple beer. An adequate, understated beer for get-togethers.

I really didn't expect much from this -- especially considering that the sample I purchased from Trader Joe's for $0.50 was obviously a heavily abused and dented can. But considering I was already picking up the equivelent of 2 six-packs of singles, an extra dented can of Euro-swill can't hurt, eh?
To be perfectly honest, this wasn't all that terrible. I suspect that if I'd had from a green bottle, it would be 99.44% Pure Skunk. But the can -- even in it's badly dented condition -- did an adequate job in keeping this beer in as decent condition as possible.
Average appearence, with slightly above-par aroma and flavor profiles. Nothing too adventurous, but nothing that would induce supersonic hurling of previous meals, either.
Overall, this is a very basic and drinkable lager -- cheap-ass packaging and bare-bones character considering.

Light gold color, medium head. A lighter tasting, mild flavored pilsner. Taste is smooth, light malts and hops. Mouthfeel is crisp. Nice balance. Finish is smooth and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Ok cheap pick of the day from Trader Joe's..extremelly cheap looking can design. Actual;ly looks ok when poured into my glass..typical golden pils colour with a good sized almost creamy white head. the aroma is ok..typical and thankfully not skunked at all A nice just above average taste for a lager..some nice hoppiness and a taste of malt..its dry in the finish. pretty average on the tongue. A quite drinkabl;e lager..I must admit I was surprised..a good cheap beer for parties and BBQs.

I bought this at Trader Joes because I had never heard of it before. It had a super skunky aroma with a spritzy head that did't last long. Pale gold color. A little lacing. Malty, grassy and gassy. I wasn't expecting much and that's what I got.

This brew pours with a golden body topped by a thick, white, quickly disappearing head with a good amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet yet slightly sour with a touch of bitterness mixed in and a slight woody character. The flavor is slightly lacking but is well balanced, leaning towards woody, hoppy bitterness. The finish is slightly sour and bitter. Light bodied, smooth and dry.
