500 ml swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Papiermühle seidla a clear and deep brown coloured Dunkel with a three fingers beige and soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, caramel, light grassy hops and spicy notes, licorice. The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, notes of dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is creamy and round. The texture is oily. This light to medium bodied Dunkel has a dry roasted malts finish. An easy drinkable and pleasant Dunkel from the Uni-City Jena in Thüringen.
