Winner of the Silver Medal / 2004 World Beer Cup. Red Truck IPA is an American India Pale Ale, generously dry hopped to give this beer a full hop aroma and flavor, but with a strong caramel malt profile that balances the intense hop flavor and aroma with a slight sweetness that makes this beer a rich experience in flavor .

In classic IPA fashion this pours a bright semi hazey copper colour. Big creamy off white head. Plenty of those dank hops right up front on the nose. In yo face! Tastey and firm with a certain amount of chewiness. AStringent, grapefruity and slight pine. subtle smooth caramel undertones in this brew.

A colleague brought me this back from a recent trip he took to Colorado. Aroma is very pungent as well as sweet with some dried-floral overtones and hoppy bitter with some pine and grapefruit and faint maltiness. Appearance is a deepreddish-orange in color with a full head on top that is sticky and a light-tan in color and is wel-carbonated. Mouthfeel is light to medium-bodied with great balance between the hop bill and malt with nice complexity and the palate is light but wet-like and refreshing. Flavor is of dried hop leaves with some pine and grapefruit with an aftertaste that offers some roasty malt that does not overpower the hoppiness and is bitter with some sweetness and has a finish that is clean, sharp, and refreshing. Overall, great IPA here with wonderful balance and is rock solid through and through and worth drinking if you come across it; recommended!

Nice and Hoppy this one. Very popular in these parts where the non beer drinkers will knock a few of these back. Well balenced crisp and clean. great beer.
